Love it

  • Stunning historic estate with genuine countryside charm
  • Equestrian facilities for all skill levels
  • Farm-to-table dining and close to Hamburg
  • World-class spa with panoramic mountain sauna
  • Exceptional South Tyrolean cuisine with own garden
  • Boutique feel — never overcrowded

Fair warning

  • Rural location requires a car
  • Not a traditional spa hotel — focused on nature
  • Premium pricing for the region
  • Can book out quickly in peak season

My take

“German countryside luxury - horses, nature, and genuine hospitality.”
“Perfect blend of Alpine wellness and modern design - my go-to for deep rest.”
My verdict

Completely different experiences for different moods. Gut Immenhof is nature, horses, and countryside simplicity — perfect for a family weekend or when you need to unplug completely. Hotel Avidea is mountain luxury with world-class spa — ideal when you want to be pampered. For pure recovery and rest, Hotel Avidea wins. For genuine disconnection and fresh air, Gut Immenhof is unbeatable.
